1. About these terms
These terms apply to mrresearcher.com and to every Mr Researcher tool, including tools on our sub-domains (such as journal-finder.mrresearcher.com). Mr Researcher is a brand of Knowledge Horizon for Trading SPC (أفق المعرفة للتجارة), Commercial Registration No. 1683558, Sultanate of Oman, holding e-commerce licences L3970122 and L3970132. In these terms, “we” means that company. By using the site or a tool, you agree to them. A tool’s own page may add notes for that tool; for that tool, those notes apply together with these terms.
2. Our tools support your work; they are not advice
Our tools are for research and education. Their results are a starting point: check them against the original sources before you rely on them. We do not guarantee any result, such as a manuscript being accepted by a journal. Nothing on this site is medical, legal or financial advice.
3. Beta and free tools
Some tools are marked beta. They work, but they are still being tested and improved. Tools offered free may later have paid options; we will say so on the tool’s page before any change applies to you.
4. Accuracy and corrections
We take care that what our tools show comes from named sources, with dates where possible. Sources can be wrong or out of date, and tools can make mistakes. Where a tool offers a way to report an error, please use it; otherwise write to info@mrresearcher.com. A person checks reports; nothing changes automatically.
5. Third-party names and data
Names of databases, indexes, publishers and other services are names or trademarks of their owners. Unless a page says otherwise, Mr Researcher is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by them. Data we use from other sources remain under their own terms, which each tool’s page lists.
6. Fair use
- Do not use automated tools to send requests to our tools or to copy their data in bulk.
- Do not try to get around rate limits or other protections.
- Do not interfere with the site or with other users.
- We may limit or block access that breaks these terms.
7. Your content
Text, files or data you enter remain yours. How we handle them is set out in our Privacy Policy and in the data profile shown on each tool’s page. We do not use your content to train AI models.
8. Our content
The software, design, texts and the way information is selected and compiled in our tools belong to Mr Researcher. You may use the results for your own research, teaching and publications. Research about our tools, such as pre-registered tests, may be published openly.
9. Paid plans and payments
Some tools are offered as paid plans, such as the Publication Pass. Prices are shown in Omani Rial on our pricing page before you pay. Payments are processed by our licensed payment provider, Tap Payments; we never see or store your full card details. Refunds follow our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. Paid plans never change the results of our free tools.
10. No warranty
The site and tools are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We may change, suspend or end any tool at any time.
11. Liability
To the extent the law allows, Mr Researcher is not liable for any loss arising from use of the site or tools, or from decisions based on them.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman. If you have a complaint, write to us first and we will try to resolve it within 14 days. If we cannot, the competent courts of Muscat have jurisdiction. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Oman’s Consumer Protection Law.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version; important changes are announced on the site.
